Well we've played two shows so far in the comeback tour. Both were great. First on July 17th @ Devlin's Irish pub in Atco, NJ and it was fun just getting back out again. The big news you've all been waiting for. We're back. DECADE RETURNS. The lineup of Steve Vogl, Steve Horn, Matt Hill and Ray Fonio are reunited and it feels so good LoL. Our first gig will be at Devlin's Irish Pub located on 450 1st ave in Atco, NJ Help us celebrate the reunion that night in style.

 

*****NEWS FLASH**** As of March 26th, 2009.....Hey everyone, in case you didn't notice Decade took a LOOOONG hiatus as of last July 31st 2008. For reasons out of my control and I'd rather not get into. BUT, BUT, Stay tuned for really big news from Decade.

 

Its been awhile since my last update. We've been busy this summer with shows of course. Since the last show at Tappy's we've played the Bayshore Inn in Cape May, NJ Twice and both shows were great. Then we rocked the house in Doylestown, PA at a place called Stephanie's for the first time. That show rocked! The place was totally packed and the management there really know how to take care of their bands. We also went to Wildwood, NJ to a new place called Seven Sea's, It use to be Michaels if your familiar with Wildwood, The place is still getting their name out there and I know we'll be back there again next summer. Next up for us is a little break in August. God knows we need it. Our next show will be at the end of  August at  a place I havent played in a while called Buffstones in  Hamilton, NJ on Friday night August 22nd. I'm looking forward to going back. Pictures are being updated as we speak. There's only pictures of one of our shows at the Bayshore inn. Its been rough lately to try to get someone to take pictures of our shows. So if any of you are near any of our shows, feel free to come up and helpfully volunteer to grab our camera and take a few. Thanks.

Great night last night at Tappy's Tavern in Morrisville, PA. It was our first time there and they really know how to make you have a great time. We had a blast, Mercy the owner was terrific. And the crowd loved us. The newly designed beer coozies went over well. The spaghetti strap shirts were a huge hit and you can see a lot of the girls wearing them in our pictures so check em out. We will be back there real soon. Next up for us is next weekend for a back to back night, First friday down the shore in cape may at the Bayshore inn, And then on saturday at Stephanie's in Doylestown, PA.

What a great weekend for Decade. First on Friday night May 30th we were at The Eddington House in Bensalem, PA. The owners were great, the people were great. We'll definetly be back there real soon. Then Sat night May 31st we were all the way in Cape May as the song goes. At the Bayshore Inn. Place was OFF THE HOOK! The people really know how to party at the Bayshore, We are back there on Friday June 27th. We gave away Free Spaghetti strap shirts at both shows since they are a hot commodity. Next up for us in Friday the 13th, My lucky day at The Old Swedes inn, located in Swedesboro, NJ That will also be our new bass players first gig with us. This upcoming weekend Decade has a doubleheader, First on Friday May 30th @ The Eddington House in Bensalem then on Saturday night May 31st down the shore in cape may at The Bayshore Inn. We will be raffleing off Free spaghetti strap shirts for the ladies both nights.

 

Come on out this Friday night May 23rd @ The Sticky Wicket located on 2465 S. Broad street in Hamilton, NJ We are having special guest Rich McNeil fill in on bass for us from the band Damage Control. Another great show last night Friday April 25th at JD'S Sports Bar in Riverside, NJ. This was our first time there and everybody made us feel welcome. Another fantastic night last night at Terry's Too in Folcroft, PA. Thanks to everyone who came out. Stef, Cyndy and all the rest of our regulars at Terry's. This place rocks.That's right, our bass player for the last 3 years Matt Hill is moving on. Matt has a great opportunity with a band called Crooked Halo. Matt will sorely be missed and will always be a part of the Decade family forever. We wish you luck MATT!  We'll be back at Terry's in May and looking forward to it. Great night last weekend down the shore at Casey's on third last Saturday March 1st. New owner Michelle made us feel comfortable and the place is great. We're looking forward going back down there during the summer. Next up for us is back home @ Terry's Too in Folcroft on March 29th.

This Saturday January 13th we have a big day for us. First off we are scheduled to play @ The Whiskey Dix Saloon for the Pirates Den Benefit. We are scheduled to play at 1pm. The show starts at 12 noon and goes till 2am, Its a two day events with raffle prizes and over 20 bands in two days. Then later on that night we are playing down in Smyrna, DE at Bulldozers Saloon located on 616 W. Glenwood ave in Smyrna, DE. The EAGLES are playing the saints so come on out and party with us and watch the Eagles destroy the saints. ROCK ON!

It had been a long time since we played the Pirates Den. And man did I miss it. We dusted off our hard rock heavy metal material for the first time in a while and we just rocked out with some of our oldies, Like Judas Priest, Sabbath just to name a few. But it was successful night, some good money was raised for a good cause. Thanks to all the bands that participated, Faithless Hero's played some old school punk that was like misfits meets sex pistols. Cool. Then it was time for some old school metal with Midnight Angel. Great tunes from a great band. Then Motornature came on and tore the place apart with some awesome hard rock original tunes. Then we ended the night with our covers of some old school rock. Thanks to Brian and Tony of the Pirates Den for letting us have this event there. We hope Wayne gets better soon. First on Friday night Oct 20th we're at Ott's located on 340 Greentree road in Wash Twp, NJ. Then on Saturday Night we're doing an important benefit for a local friend of ours Wayne Traenker who was in a serious accident. There will be us and 4 other bands playing there. Show starts at 9pm. We celebrated our drummer's daughter's birthday. Becka came up and jammed out on a couple of tunes on guitar. She rocks and happy birthday becka! We're back at Buckalews one more time on August 26th. Next up is new place for us on Friday August 4th at Ott's in Edgewater Park, NJ. So we expect to see all you Jersey people out rocking with Decade.

 

 

We had a great time at our old stomping ground, The Iron Horse on Saturday night July 8th. Good time. Thanks to all who came out to support the band. If you don't know who the band Yellowcard is, they are a huge band in the same genre of Green Day.

We just played a private party for our singer Steve's son Larry's high school graduation. Great time with great people all day long. Congrats to Larry. Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs Vogl for being great host and hostess. Thanks to the other bands that played with us. 60c, Jeff from Phrogger, and to Larry's band Faithless Hero's. Hope we didnt make too much noice for the neighborhood.

We just played The Iron Horse Saloon on Friday night Feb 24th, and it was a great show. Great night last night at the new JD McGillicuddys in Tinicum, PA. We had a blast and the people there really know how to party. Special thanks to the owner Tom for having us. Great place to play, Well it looks like tonight's gig is going to be postponed at the Iron Horse Saloon in Lindenwold, NJ due to the snow storm, We are however rescheduled to play there for ST. PATTY'S day on Friday March 17th. We'll keep you all informed if we are going to be there earlier.

 

We are playing tonight at the new JD McGillicuddys located on 211 2nd street in Tinicum, PA. But, for tomorrow nights show at the new Iron Horse Saloon, keep an eye out from us on whether or not we're playing there tomorrow night due to the impending snow storm that is suppose to come in tomorrow night. Our next gig is on Sat September 3rd at Tom N Jerry's. We will be opening up for our great friends DVS. They are an 80's Metal Tribute band. So come on out to help support the band.

This event will be to support the food bank of south jersey, It's for a good cause. Tickets are $15 in advance and $23 at the door. We've been added to the 2nd annual Summer Jam and Picnic this year on Saturday August 20th at Devone's Restaurant located on 1920 Black Horse Pike in Williamstown, NJ. Its a two day event, with 6 other bands on Saturday with us. And then 7 more bands on Sunday. The Sunday performance is at Garrison Lakes in Monroeville, NJ. We played for the first time at a place called Bukks Barn n Grille in Wilmington, DE on Friday April 29th, Pretty cool place. Nice atmosphere and good food too. We had a good night and want to thank the owners there for having us play there.

 

We played The Whiskey Dix at the Electric Factory Saturday April 16th for the Lenny Kravitz after party, It was an awesome night and a packed house. The Whiskey Dix is a great place to play at and we like to thank the owner for having us there, we will be back there for the June 3rd Killers after party.

 

Saturday April 9th we played at Tailgators in Clifton Heights, Great show, the place was packed with people. And we had a special guest come up to sit in on drums for us. Decade's original Drummer, Chris Romano. Chris came in and played on Ozzy's Crazy Train and didn't miss a beat. Just like old times. The place was electric. Tailgators is a cool place to play, lots of locals. Our next show is Saturday April 16th at Whiskey Dix for the lenny kravitz after party show.

We played JD McGillicuddy's Last night for the first time in almost a year. We had a blast! It was great seeing some new friends and our old friends. It was great to see the old gang again. JD McGillicuddy's always was always a cool place for us to play. We just played the Miguel Malave benefit on Saturday night February 12th at Cousin's Irish Pub in Westville, NJ. And it was a huge success. We want to thank everyone at SJSCENE for putting together such a great night for a great cause. Personal thanks to Walt & Larry Betson, Steve McVicker, Lisa Becker, to all the bands that played with us. Handsome Devil, Brain Damage, Mick Guinea and Desoto Rust. The place was totally packed with at least 150 people in a tiny place. The place was rocking and so were we. If you missed this, you missed a great show. We played the 1st Annual Holiday Jam last night December 18th at The Pirates Den. It was a huge success for toys for tots. We had a ton of toys donated. Pictures are up now. Thanks to all of the bands that participated, Mail Order Bride, Spur, Cold Sweat, Dino and the Missiles, Next Stop Earth, Brain Damage, White Foxx, Handsome Devil, Ragdoll, Surrender Dorothy, Bill Mattson & Selective Memory. There was a lot of people in attendance there, over 300 people in attendance. Some old faces from back in the galaxy days like Curt Ritchie and Georgie Rumbol and Kelly James from the Dead End Kids. It was a great night for a great cause. What a way to end the year for Decade. We want to thank all of you for a TREMENDOUS Year. By far DECADE'S BEST. Between our first original song in the studio, the Howard stern show,  The wmmr plug, The SI Stud interviews, The news paper articles, The Summer Jam, South Street, The Pirates Den, The benefits and The Holiday Jam We cant wait for 2005 as we have even bigger and better things in stored. We just played the James Scaife benefit Friday night November 26th at Giuseppe's. It was one great night with great people. We want to thank all the people who put this together for us. Laura Rumble, Johnny Rushing from Spur and Tony the Owner of Giuseppe's. Some great friends were there, old friends and new one's Lil Al Bufano was gracious to donate a Autograph Led Zep tour book to the cause. Shawn from Cold Sweat was there. Ray Joseph the original drummer from Cinderella was there. Mark Ostroski from Damage Control in the audience. We thank you all, if it wasn't for you great people we wouldn't be here. Handsome Devil started the night just right, those guys know how to rock, Then we took to the stage to a blistering audience of well over 150 people. Then Spur was next and kicked it out with some heavy original songs and kicked butt, Then last but certainly not least was Dino and The Missiles. Little Dino took the crowd to a frenzy, and Georgie Rumbol who also plays with the Dead End Kids and the rest of the guys in the Missiles were awesome. Pictures are up now. We played Giuseppe's last night in Williamstown, NJ for a benefit for Miguel Malave. This was a benefit for a very good friend of ours, Sherri Hatch. Sherri's nephew Miguel was in a serious bike accident recently. So we played with 4 other bands. And it was a totally awesome night. We started the show rolling, then was Handsome Devil, then Spur, Dino and the Missiles, and the legendary Dead End Kids. It was an honor and our privilege to share the stage with such great bands. I would like to thank Laura Rumbol for putting this together and Johnny from Spur. Thanks to Lisa Piergross for the pictures. We've been asked to come back there again. All in All it was a fantastic night for a great cause. Musicians coming together is a awesome thing. We now have another announcement. This Friday night October 22nd, we are playing a benefit for biker Miguel Malave. Migues was in a serious accident a little while ago and is still in a coma. We've been asked to help out with this benefit and of course we are. The gig is with us and 4 other bands. The bands are as follows, Spur, Handsome Devil, Dino and the Missiles. This is Georgie Rumbols other band. Georgie is the guitarist of the Dead End Kids. And the Kelly James band. Kelly is the  other guitarist of the Dead End Kids. And of course us. The show is this Friday night at Giuseppe's (the old stern lite) on the black horse pike in Williamstown, NJ. All proceeds go to help out the family of Miguel Malave. We just played Frightland Horror Amusement Park last night October 9th, and it was a great gig. Great stage, Great lights. There were ateast 1500 people in the audience at the stage area. We first would like to thank Larry, Craig, Jimmy & Jeff from Next Stop Earth for having us share the stage. The place was jumping with people, and ghosts and gobblins, and Freddy, and Mike Meyers and The RING GIRL, and jeepers creepers.We did two sets of great music, started with some newer music from Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, and the classics like Rolling Stones, Led Zep. Great job by Harry Coady on the sound. Thanks for Tammy for the wonderful pictures. Thanks to our families who came out. *****NEWS FLASH***** This just in, since the 1st Annual Summer Jam and Picnic was a huge success, there is now, HOLIDAY JAM 2004. For two nights at The Pirates Den in Gloucester, NJ there will be our 1st Annual Holiday Jam. Two nights, Friday December 17th & Saturday December 18th, 6 Bands a night. 12 Total. Some bands have already confirmed, such as Whitefoxx, Next Stop Earth, Surrender Dorothy, and the Dead End Kids have confirmed for one of the nights. So far there are a few more bands that have to confirm. But this will be a lot of fun the week before Christmas. I've attached a banner to our links section, and for right now it will lead to the Pirates den website, but in a few more days it will lead to the official Holiday Jam website. Plus like I said two paragraphs below this, we are playing there ourselves on Saturday December 4th at the Pirates Den. And we just added another new gig for the first time at Keegan's Pub at the Travel Inn in Mt.Holly, NJ on Januray 8th. We are spreading out into jersey now as well.

We just played the 1st Annual Summer Jam and Picnic on Sunday August 29th at Lake Garrison Park in Monroeville, NJ. And it was a huge success. To play in front of a big crowd like that was a great experience for us as a band. There was a packed grounds of over 300 people there. The jam started with the first band at around 12:30 in the blazing sun. We went on around 6pm after Rough Dymond. We played a 30 min set of Alice in Chains-The Rooster, Audioslave-Cochise, Rainbow-Man on the silver mt, Velvet Revolver-Slither and our first original song Restless. We want to thank all the people who came out to support us and the jam. I want to thank Lisa Piergross who I helped in planning this huge event. It was my pleasure and honor to be a part of this. Thanks also to stage manager extroindanare Billyk, Thanks to Metalheadsunited for supporting us and thanks to sjscene for supporting us from the beginning. Thanks to Joe Darby who took a lot of great pictures that I didn't even post because there was so many, he took of every band. Last night August 7th, we played at 5 Points Sports Bar n Grille with Hurricane Jane. It was a huge success. We like to thank Vince, Frank, John & Dave From Hurricane Jane for letting us open up for them, It was our first time in the Levittown, PA area and at 5 Points. We had a great time. Thanks to all the tons of people who showed up. Thanks to Lori for the GREAT PICTURES.

 

We've just added a new show today, we're back again at Harry Kat's Pub on Saturday night October 30th. And we've added another place for the first time at Murph's Irish Pub in Wilmington, DE on Saturday October 16th. We also have our first original song that we've recorded around a month ago in June. The four of us recorded this at Top Ten Music Studio's in Glenolden, PA. And it was produced by Mark Hafer, We want to thank him for the great job. It was a song that we entered for the Howard Stern Show. Howard had a contest called the Reckless Reckless song contest. The lyrics were written by Tom Gesimondo and Vinny Favali of the Stern Show. But the music was written by us. So go check it out on our music section. It rocks.

 

Last night June 26th we played Abilene's on South street to a packed house. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us. It was Nick's first show with us and it was a great night. South street is a great place to play, everybody was out on a great night walking in and checking us out. Great Show. Pictures will up later on today. Ok, the news we've all been waiting for. Decade will be a part of a HUGE outdoor event. Called the 1ST ANNUAL SUMMER JAM AND PICNIC. To be held on Sunday August 29th, 2004 from 9am to 8PM. This will be a family oriented event with bands playing. Lake for swimming, paddleboats, softball field, basketball courts, volleyball, Barbecue, picnic fun and games for the kids and moon bounce. This is the good part here. It will be featuring 14 bands From the 80's to today, Including Decade, Krank, Whitefoxx, Surrender Dorothy, Midnight hero, Rough Dymond, New London, Plan B, Handsome Devil, Hell Razor, Next Stop Earth, Funhouse and Ragdoll. Most of these bands were huge in the 80's with playing the Empire Rock Club and the Galaxy to name a few. Tickets can be purchased for $15, kids 4 and under are free. Last night May 15th, we played Harry Kat's Pub in Aston, PA And once again we had a good time playing there as always. That was our third time playing there, and we've been asked to come back again. Thanks goes out to Harry for having us there.  It's also our Bass players Kyle's Birthday this week May 20th huhuhuh. Thanks to everyone who was at Kat's. especially the drunk lady whatever your name was, made sure she danced on every song. Next up is Matty's Place in Upper Darby on Fri June 11th. Last night was a great night at JD McGillicuddys. The place was packed and we totally rocked the house. We added quite a bit of new songs from loverboy to iron maiden, Yes Iron Maiden. Cool. Last  night January 17th we were back for the second time at Harry Kat's Pub in Aston, PA. It was a great show, we've been asked to come back in april to headline once again. We would like to thank all those who came out to support us in the snow. There is some pretty good things to come at Harry Kat's Pub in the near future, So stay tuned for that. Our next gig is on a tuesday night January 27th,at Abilene's on South Street. Now we know its gonna be rough for anybody to come out on a tuesday night, but this could be a big stepping stone for this band and we need all of your support once again. After that we're back for the second time at the Sundance Saloon on Saturday February 7th. We played The Sundance Saloon last night Dec 20th. And it was another great show. We opened up for the Southern Rock All Stars, who consist of Molly Hatchett, The Rossington Band and Blackfoot. We played to a packed house for over an hour with songs of War Pigs, Brown Sugar, Tush, Roadhouse Blues and others. We want to thank everyone who helped us out and to all those who came to support us. Our next show will be on Saturday January 17th, at Harry Kat's Pub in Aston, PA.

News for the week of August  04th. Well this week is a big one. To start we're playing for the first time at TJ Whelans on 7312 Castor ave in NE Philly. This is a big show for us, so we need everybody's support for this. We go on at 10pm and play the whole night. Next we are once again back in the newspapers tomorrow August 08th in the Delaware county daily times weekend section. This makes the 3rd time we've been in the Delaware county daily times, and our 5th overall article thats been on us. We've also added a couple of new dates to our schedule. We are playing for the first time at Casey's Saloon on lansdowne ave in Lansdowne on Nov 15th, then back again at JD McGillicuddy's in Drexel Hill on Dec 13th and For the first time at The Frontier Saloon on Kedron ave in Morton, PA in the new year January 31st. We're also working on another big show in October with another national act.  I've also added the Internet Radio Station interview that was done back in May of this year, in our articles section. Don't bother to try and listen if you have regular dial up connection, only try if you have High speed. Stay tuned for the next couple of weeks to find out who and where and when. Things just keep getting better and better these days for the band. In latest news, I had the privilege of doing the band's  first Internet Radio show  interview today. At extreme radio in New York. The show will be aired on Friday May 2nd on the SI STUD show at 5pm est. and replayed back on Sunday May 4th, 4 pm est.. You can check out their site at www.extremeradio.co.uk or at www.hotmetalradio.com. We talked about the band's influences musically, and talked about the band's present and future. It was  a lot of fun. We played Bottom's Up Bar n Grille last night March 1st. It was a great show. Thanks to John Durkin for letting us play there we had a great time. Next time we promise to have the fake pyro techs there people ok? Next stop on the Decade bus is Gators on March 20th. Thanks to the people who came out to support us last night. In latest news Friday February 28th, We just landed a BIG gig at Gators, in New Castle , DE for Thursday March 20th, at 10pm. That's right people, Decade is invading Delaware, we're now heading into other states. Plus our date for JD McGillicuddy's April 26th has been changed to Saturday May 17th. We also are back at  another gig at PJ Henry's for Saturday June 7th, 10pm. And last but not least, this has been a big week. We are back in the paper's, Today's edition of the Delaware county Daily times page 40, a little tid bit article about the band. And don't forget to come out Saturday night March 1st at Bottoms Up Bar n Grille. It's been a great month with this new lineup, and its only gonna get better. Until next month.

 

The show for Abilene's this Saturday night February 8th has been postponed. But the show at Bottoms up bar n grille on Saturday March 15th has been moved up to Saturday March 1st., we've added another show at  JD McGillicuddy's for Saturday night April 26th. We said we're gonna be back there soon, and we kepted our promise. Check out our schedule for all of our up coming shows. Hi everyone, the latest news  for the week of January 13th is that we are playing a brand new club in Clifton Heights Delaware county called Bottoms Up Bar N Grille on Saturday night March 15th. THIS JUST IN, we are now scheduled to play Joclyn's in Media, PA on Saturday March 29th. And the date for Gator's pub in New Castle, DE wont be announced till next week. So we're stoked and ready to go, please come out and support us. We promise to make it a total all out rock fest.        

 

                    

Decade played there finest performance to date last night August 23rd at Johns Boardwalk bar n grill in Northeast Phila. The place was rockin and so were  we. We definitely will be back there again real soon. Thanks to all who came out to support us, especially Tammy for the video and pics,  Becky, Ziggy & Lori, Rick, Crazy Tony. And special thanks to John's owner Mr. John Fox for having us there. And to the band who we shared the night with, EL Kabong. In other news,  we will be auditioning new people to take the helm of Lead Front man for Decade. We look forward to sharing with all of you real soon as to who that will be. And we will not stop to disappoint our fans, We look forward to keep on rocking and being bigger and better than ever. The show must go on. Until next month, Decade will keep you informed.

 

We rocked the house on Saturday night August 10th at PJ Henry's in Ardmore, PA. The place was packed to the best fans, ziggy, jason, greg, becky,  ed for the great sound. Special thanks to saints and sinners for opening up for us again, and to the owner jimmy. We are coming right back out again next Friday night August 23rd at John's Boardwalk Bar n Grill in northeast philly, with guest el kabong. Until then, ROCK ON. pictures will be up real soon.

 

 

We just played  at PJ Henry's Saturday night June 29th. It was  a great success. Thanks goes out to all our fans for showing up and supporting us; Tammy for the pics,  crazy Tony, Jason from LC, Carl of Road Rage, Rick for the great intro, becky, Shane & Ruth, and anyone else who we might of forgotten, thanks. Thanks to Jimmy and Mark of PJ Henry's for letting us jam, and to Ronnie Kayfield and the rest of Saints and Sinners for playing with us that night. We will be back at PJ Henry's on Saturday night August 10th and again with Saints and Sinners. Until then, ROCK ON!

 

  

In other news, We played at JD McGillicuddy's on Friday night February 22nd, in front of our largest crowd yet. At least 150 witnessed our best show to date.
